The Remote Nuclear Field Service Technician installs, commissions, monitors, troubleshoots, and repairs pumps, seals, and other equipment across industries such as oil and gas, chemical, nuclear, coal, and wastewater industries, depending on the customer engagement.In this challenging position you will provide real-time technical support to our customers, and provide recommendations for repairs, upgrades, and replacement equipment. The FST is actively engaged in troubleshooting problems and implementing solutions onsite at nearby customer facilities. As part of a team, Nuclear Field Service Technician is the face of this company, and they are counted on them to deliver a world-class service to customers, creating a lasting competitive advantage for the company's products and services.Responsibilities include:- Providing on-site service, diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues, and leading work crews as needed- Oversee equipment repairs, from disassembly to reassembly, ensuring successful installation and start-up- Monitor equipment performance, train customers on proper operation and maintenance, and maintain accurate records of work performed- Collaborate and uphold values of ethics, safety, and quality. They are looking for folks who can live near a major airport and can travel to customer sites. This is a travel job with about 80-90% overnight per year. Spring and Fall are the busiest times with plant shutdowns. You will either fly or use a service vehicle or receive mileage reimbursement for customer visits.Base salary, $100K - $150K, a 401k, overtime and full benefits, and per diem. They provide a company credit card, and a cell phone.
