The Resident Director is a member of the professional live-in Residence Life staff at the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg. The Resident Director will be responsible for the overall management of 1 - 2 residence halls on campus, and will support the Housing department and University in its mission, goals and policies. The University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg residence halls have 100 - 125 beds. Oversees and manages the Universitys residential facilities, residence life educational programs, residentially-based academic communities, residence life student and professional staff, and all promotional communications for the department. Ensures the safety and security of residents and development of the departmental comprehensive emergency management plan. Facilitates operational decisions within broadly defined parameters that require a high level of judgement. Establishes the direction, goals, implementation strategy, and policies of the department.
