As we prepare to open our second innovative concept in Q4 2025 and expand further, we are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role will support financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency as we scale our business.

Position Overview:

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing the day-to-day accounting functions for our restaurant operations. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role requires strong technical accounting expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for financial reporting, reconciliations, tax compliance, and process improvements to support the company's financial health and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

General Accounting & Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded properly.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis.

Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable:

• Oversee the processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports.
• Ensure timely collection of receivables and manage vendor payments.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts on a regular basis.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor actual performance against budget and provide variance analysis.

Tax & Compliance:

• Prepare and file sales tax, payroll tax, and other regulatory filings.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.

Process Improvement & Systems Management:

• Streamline accounting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Support system integrations and software implementations.
• Ensure data integrity across financial platforms.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Proficiency in financial software, including NetSuite, Restaurant365, and xtraCHEF.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• CPA or progress towards CPA is a plus.
