About the Role: Job Summary The System Administrator I is responsible for the effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software, and related infrastructure. This roles involves providing technical support to end-users, troubleshooting system issues, and ensuring the overall stability and security of the organization's IT infrastructure environment.
Minimum Job Qualifications - Licensure or other certifications: At least one active certification in one of the following areas: Cloud Technologies (AWS or Azure), Windows Server technology, VMware VCP, or Epic.

- Minimum Experience: Two (2) years of experience providing advanced technical support for server environments required in a complex 24x7 environment

Job Specific and Unique Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Functional knowledge of server hardware, virtualization, and cloud computing.
- Strong understanding of operating systems, networking, and system administration concepts.
- Experience with maintaining enterprise grade backup systems and troubleshooting backup storage problems
- Functional knowledge with Microsoft 365 products, Active Directory, Teams, Group Policies, and MS SQL Server
- Thorough understanding of TCP/IP networking knowledge, including DNS, DHCP, WINS, FTP
- Intermediate knowledge and experience managing and maintaining virtualization technologies such as VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, or Cloud based Infrastructure.
- Experience with VBScript, PowerShell, and batch file scripting
- Must demonstrate advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Essential Tasks and Responsibilities - Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures. Create and update user guides and knowledge base articles.
- Coordinates appropriate internal and external resources to deliver high quality technical service delivery, minimizing risks to technical infrastructure and patient care.
- Collaborate with other IT staff and departments to resolve technical issues and improve system performance.
- Ensure the availability and reliability of servers, networks, and associated systems.
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory (Cloud and On Prem) support and troubleshooting including management of group policies. Assists with the maintenance Cloud, Virtualization, and Storage Area Networks.
- Perform routine system administration tasks, including system monitoring, patching, and updates.
- Basic to Intermediate knowledge of at least one scripting language such as PowerShell.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and systems issues in a timely manner. Escalate complex issues to higher-level team members when necessary.
- Support and Maintenance of Cloud Environments such as AWS, Azure, M365. Conduct regular system backups and implement disaster recovery procedures.
- Enhance expertise and mastery in specialized domains such as Virtualization, Storage technologies, Disaster Recovery Technologies, and Encryption to elevate knowledge and proficiency
- Experience in Management and reporting in the following technologies: Cloud, Virtualization, Storage Area Networks, Disaster Recovery, Backup
- Participates in Triage and after hours On Call Rotation
