Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Plating Technician to join our team. This role involves assisting with plating operations, preparing parts for processing, monitoring chemical baths, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. No prior experience is required—on-the-job training will be provided!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare parts for plating by cleaning, masking, and racking according to specifications.
  • Operate and monitor anodizing, passivation, and chemical conversion coating processes.
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality and customer requirements.
  • Maintain process tanks by monitoring chemical levels and performing basic adjustments.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines, including proper handling of chemicals and personal protective equipment (PPE) use.
  • Assist in equipment maintenance and general housekeeping of the plating area.
  • Record process data and complete necessary documentation for quality control.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No prior plating experience necessary—training provided!
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn technical processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to chemicals.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Due to ITAR restrictions employees require US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status.
  • For maximum pay range prior experience in metal finishing, chemistry, or manufacturing is required.
