Great people make ARH stand out in our industry, and we are looking for individuals who strive for personal and professional growth, and who want to work with a company dedicated to serving our customers and communities.General SummaryThe Vendor Performance Manager will primarily focus on domestic routing, including the creation and implementation of our routing instructions to ensure efficient and cost-effective logistics operations. A secondary focus will involve managing and optimizing Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes to strengthen vendor communication and data accuracy. Additionally, this role will collaborate with our parent company to develop and implement a comprehensive vendor manual and effectively communicate it to our supplier base.Essential Duties and Responsibilities•Domestic Routingo Manage and oversee the domestic routing process to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.o Create, implement, and maintain detailed routing instructions for vendors and internal stakeholders.o Monitor carrier performance and compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).o Identify inefficiencies in the logistics process and recommend improvements.o Collaborate with vendors to address and resolve routing issues promptly.•Vendor Manual Development and Communicationo Work with our parent company to develop a comprehensive vendor manual outlining expectations, guidelines, and standards.o Implement the vendor manual across all relevant stakeholders and provide training as needed.o Communicate the vendor manual effectively to our supplier base, ensuring clear understanding and alignment.o Update and maintain the manual to reflect changes in processes or policies.o Incorporate best-in-class practices into the vendor manual to ensure excellence in vendor management.•Vendor Performance Managemento Evaluate and monitor vendor performance metrics, including on-time delivery, order accuracy, and compliance with company standards.o Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback to vendors.o Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure alignment on expectations and goals.o Implement corrective actions for underperforming vendors and track progress.•Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)o Oversee EDI business processes, ensuring accurate and efficient data exchange with vendors.o Collaborate with IT and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve EDI-related issues.o Identify opportunities to enhance EDI capabilities and improve data accuracy.o Train vendors on EDI requirements and provide ongoing support.•Collaboration with Retail Stores and Operationso Work closely with retail stores and operations teams to address and resolve receiving issues related to vendor orders.o Act as a liaison between stores, operations, and vendors to ensure smooth order fulfillment and problem resolution.o Develop processes and best practices to minimize receiving challenges and improve overall efficiency.Other Essential RequirementsAbility to exhibit and incorporate our Core Values into daily decisions and interactions with others:o WINNING - In business, money is the score. Minimum Skills, Requirements and Qualifications•Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.•3+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or vendor management roles.•Experience in creating and implementing routing instructions is a strong advantage.•Familiarity with EDI systems and processes is highly preferred.•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.•Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics management software.•Minimal travel as required.•Standing, walking, lifting (up to 25 lbs.) and climbing.•Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.•Detail-oriented with a focus on process improvement.•Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.•Team player with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.•Commitment to implementing and maintaining best-in-class practices.Compensation Details$75000 /yearFor a full list of benefits and open positions, please visit us at: Want to be notified when new jobs are posted?
