Priority Personnel is hiring an Experienced Warehouse Worker for a manufacturing company located in San Marcos, TX. Pay rate: $17.75/hour Work Schedule: Monday-Friday/8:30am-5:30pm or until all trucks have departed, OT as required Job Duties:
- Inform warehouse management of any issues preventing the on time delivery or processing of outbound shipments.
- Load and unload shipments by hand or by using forklift and or pallet jack.
- Process heating cable according to procedures and customer requirements.
- Cut cable to specifications and label accordingly.
- Move stock to appropriate warehouse locations, manually lifting up to 50 pounds or use forklift when necessary.
- Using picking list locate product verifying the quantity and in some cases the serial or batch numbers.
- Package and arrange materials for shipment in the correct boxes with dunage to limit damage during transit.
- Wrap and band pallets if required.
- Ensure the accuracy of each order.
- Building and label kits for outbound orders.
- Empty trash receptacles as required including recycled cardboard.
- Assist in month-end and year-end processes as needed.
- Report unsafe practices to the supervisor and/or warehouse manager.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Assist with cycle counts and year-end inventory as required
- Process shipments at the shipping workstation.
- Assist in the stocking of inbound materials and posting transfer journals.
- Required to assist teammates as needed
Requirements:
- At least two years of previous warehouse pick and pack experience.
- Previous RF scanning, picking and product movement.
- Have used a warehouse management system or software for at least two years.
- Equipment operator: Forklift and Easy Reach (Stand Up)
