Labor Finders of Thomasville, GA is seeking candidates for a Metal Injection Molding Machine Operator. This job is a metal injection company that utilizes Feed stocks of various types of metals to manufacture intricate parts that are difficult to create by machining. They provide parts to various industries with a strong focus on commercial firearms. Products range from prototypes produced by 3D Printing Systems by plastic or metal filaments, to the MIM of medal parts. Job Duties:
- Review work instruc6on5 to ensure worker order is performed to its standards to choose its correct material, mold, injection parameter program before the set-up of the injection machine.
- Install required molds (325lbs) via crane in accordance with work order/instruction specifications, using clamps, bolts, and hand tools.
- Ensures operating parameters are correct to inject feed stock materials into molds, each part is different.
- Loads feed stock into machines hopper.
- Ensures Robot arm is calibrated to collect injected part from mold using precision guidance to ensure safety of robot arm and parts.
- Visual Inspection of parts per specified requirements.
- Removing Injection point material using hand tools, Flap wheels, belt sender and glass blasting machine.
- Stagging of parts onto molybdenum plates as prescribed by work instructions. .
- Collect all injection runners keep identify by material type from bin located at injection machine.
- Grind runners into pellets for reuse and label them as recovered feed stock. .
- Complete traveler to ensure completed production processes are traceable for record of production and feed stock information. .
- Perform preventative equipment maintenance and repairs; maintain and organize tools and equipment, clean as you go to ensure all areas meet 5s standards OSHA safety guidelines. .
- Various inspect points durin8 production is the number one priority of high-quality part .
- Communication skills verbal, written and body language must always be positive.
- Other duties as assigned.
