Salary: $85,000 - $90,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead the team in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Manage daily dining operations, ensuring each step of service is flawlessly executed.
  • Conduct interviews, hire, train, and mentor employees and managers.
  • Facilitate employee meetings and training programs to ensure ongoing professional development.
  • Manage food costs while maintaining quality standards.
  • Coordinate purchasing and inventory controls.
  • Implement HACCP controls and ensure accurate storage and use of food.
  • Maintain a safe, sanitary, and well-maintained dining facility.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with employees, guests, and clients.
  • Successfully integrate the dining service department with the overall facility operations.
  • Perform related duties and special projects as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Five to seven years of upscale food service experience.
  • Proven leadership and organizational skills with outstanding attention to detail.
  • Supervisory, scheduling, training, and mentoring skills.
  • Effective problem-solving and conflict management abilities.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of HACCP controls and inventory control.
  • Experience in menu planning in consultation with chefs.
  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures and reconciliation of multiple cash banks.
  • Compliance with health and fire regulations for food preparation and serving.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Outstanding business etiquette and client relations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • ServSafe or Department of Health certification a plus.
