Job Summary:
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for processing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the shipping and receiving process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments.
- Verify the quantity and quality of incoming goods.
- Store products in designated locations.
- Process outgoing shipments, including packaging and labeling.
- Prepare shipping documents, such as bills of lading and packing lists.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Follow safety procedures and regulations.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Forklift Certification a plus.
Experience:
- Previous warehouse experience preferred, but not required.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Physical fitness to lift, carry, and push heavy objects.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.
- Basic computer skills.
