General Job Summary The Account Servicing Specialist serves a vital role in the onboarding and servicing of consumer mortgages and consumer auto finance accounts. Primary functions include onboarding of new consumer loans, providing client services and ongoing core maintenance for these accounts. Summary of Essential Job Functions
- Executes the onboarding of loans serviced by University Bank, which includes posting initial funding and enrolling the loans in Tax Service.
- Provide customer service for clients including research and follow up to resolve problems or concerns.
- Make collection calls as needed.
- Performs file maintenance and system maintenance.
- Manages collateral release functions with adherence to the Collateral Release Procedure.
- Track and manage insurance policies for mortgage collateral including force placing insurance when necessary.
- Executes the onboarding of the Smart Checking accounts. This includes account opening, setting up automatic transfers and ordering customer checks and debit cards.
- Assists Smart Checking customers and Auto Finance customers with online banking enrollment.

Requirements Education, Training and Work Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous banking/lending experience required.
- Understanding of real estate loan documentation preferred.
- Call center and In-Person customer service experience required.

Working Environment Primary working environment is within an indoor climate-controlled office space and/or a private home office or some combination which will be at management's sole discretion. Employee may be subject to florescent lighting, dust, and other normal indoor allergens. Employee may work in close proximity of coworkers and occasionally independently in quiet environments.
