Adhesive/ Waste Treatment Operator
: Job Details :

Operates and maintains all process waste equipment including: providing technical services with diversified procedures and specialized standards in hazardous materials and wastes. Ensure that treated effluents meet all applicable safety levels before discharge. Produce Adhesive used in the MPS department with attention given to safety, quality and overall cost. Conduct adhesive polymerizations. Follow procedure for daily start up. Control equipment and product by computer. Monitor and control the reactor. Prepare the holding tank. Know location of quench controls. Make PVA - Mix Defoamer. Control the Exotherm phase. Transfer adhesive into tanks. Take samples of adhesive. Rinse lines and clean reactor. Prepare totes and fill with glue. Clean out drum and tote lines. Take sample of extract from top of tanks for lab. Take totes to weigh by scale and store in chemical holding area.
