Functional SAP TM + EWM experience
Onsite in Atlanta 3-4 days/week
We are seeking a Functional SAP TM + EWM Consultant to join our team. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure the effective implementation, configuration, and support of SAP Transportation Management (TM) and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) modules. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP logistics processes, strong analytical skills, and experience in optimizing supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- SAP TM (Transportation Management):
- Configure and support the SAP TM module for end-to-end transportation management, including planning, execution, and freight management.
- Collaborate with business teams to define and optimize transportation processes, including transportation planning, scheduling, and carrier management.
- Implement solutions to optimize freight cost calculation, route planning, and carrier selection.
- Develop and maintain SAP TM functionality for transportation execution (e.g., shipments, freight settlement, and transportation alerts).
- Work on integration between SAP TM and other SAP modules (e.g., SAP ERP, SAP EWM) and third-party systems.
- Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting for TM-related issues.
- SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management):
- Configure and optimize SAP EWM solutions to manage warehouse processes (e.g., goods receipt, inventory management, order picking, shipping).
- Define and implement warehouse structure and processes, including layouts, storage bins, and material flow.
- Integrate EWM with other modules like SAP TM, SAP MM (Materials Management), and SAP WM (Warehouse Management).
- Support the implementation of automated warehouse solutions, including RF (Radio Frequency) and barcode scanning.
- Collaborate with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure the efficient handling of goods and products in the warehouse.
- Provide end-user training and documentation related to SAP EWM.
- Cross-Module Activities:
- Ensure smooth integration between SAP TM and SAP EWM for seamless coordination between transportation and warehouse operations.
- Participate in the design, testing, and delivery of SAP TM and EWM solutions that meet business requirements.
- Gather and document functional requirements from business stakeholders.
- Perform functional testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues, coordinating with technical teams for bug fixes or enhancements.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in SAP TM and EWM modules.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end transportation management and warehouse management processes.
- Experience with SAP integration points, specifically between SAP TM, SAP EWM, SAP ERP, and SAP WM.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills to interact with business users and IT teams.
- Ability to configure SAP TM and EWM modules to meet business needs.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
- Experience in transportation planning, logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations is an advantage.
- Relevant SAP certification (TM, EWM) is a plus.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in the configuration and support of SAP TM + EWM.
Experience with project management and working in Agile or Waterfall project environments is a plus
