In this role, you will:
· Issue computer-generated parking citations with a handheld device while patrolling the City
· Communicate with the public to explain parking regulations.
· Perform traffic control duties during special events and traffic light outages. (As needed)
· Other duties required (As needed)
To be successful in this role you must have:
· Must have at least two years of work experience in a related field and/or customer service.
· Ability to learn, comprehend, and retain knowledge of policies and guidelines r
· Must be computer literate to enter data accurately into handheld device.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Must be able to report to work on-time for assigned shifts.
· Able to walk, e-bike for duration of shift in a variety of weather conditions and enter and exit
out of a vehicle frequently.
· Flexibility in schedule, work holidays if scheduled and mandatory special events.
Additional desired experience and skills:
· Traffic control experience
· Knowledgeable of radio calls. (10-codes and Phonetic alphabet)
· Experienced in operating company vehicles.
