Primary Responsibilities:
- Engage in meaningful companionship and conversation
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Provide medication and appointment reminders
- Support clients with Alzheimer's care
- Offer personal care as needed
- Help with running errands
- Transport clients to appointments
- Participate in enjoyable activities with clients
- Provide verbal cues or instructions to assist clients in completing tasks
Requirements:
- Successful completion of a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screen
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle (required for driving clients)
- Ability to treat seniors and their property with dignity and respect
- Friendly and effective communication skills
- Compassion and patience in caregiving
