Duties Description Will supervise staff, exercising direct supervision over the day shift. Must be able to plan, organize and control the activities of the department. Responsible for taking inventory and ordering supplies. Assist in plans for improving work methods and schedules; assist in training programs, trains on equipment and provides on the job training; monitors and inspects employee work performance; assigns and distribute work to staff; establishes and coordinates employees work schedule to assure necessary coverage; prepares performance evaluations as well as other reports as needed. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Two years experience in a housekeeping capacity in a hospital setting or in multi unit live-in facility. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES: 3 year's supervisory experience in a housekeeping capacity. Ability to read e-mails and work orders.
