**Position Title:** **Quality Assurance Assistant**

**Location:** **Greeley Value Added**

**Purpose & Scope:**

**Principle Responsibilities:**

+ Enter all QA and food safety data into corporate drives and internal spreadsheets daily

+ Send QA & food safety reports to internal team and corporate team

+ Report FSIS Non-compliance

+ Present HACCP/SSOP information to customers and USDA as needed

+ File and maintain QA and food safety documents

+ Print labels for operations as needed and send label proofs to corporate

+ Enter all quality control hold tags into the database

+ Help QA techs by filling in on production floor as needed

+ Answer phone calls and take messages for all QA lines

+ Submit micro samples to lab

+ Gather tare weight information and set codes up in Shop Floor Software

+ BRC Compliance auditing and preparation

+ E-mail certificates of analysis to customers

+ Perform video auditing and annual HACCP/SSOP program updates

+ Review QA paperwork for accuracy daily as well as previous day's documents, following up with supervisors as necessary

+ Other duties assigned

**Skills:**

+ Experience working in food industry with HACCP, SSOP, USDA regulations and GMP requirements

+ Previous clerical experience preferred

+ Above average computer/ten key skills

+ Microsoft office

+ Strong communication skills

**Requirements**

+ Authorized to work in the US

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ 18 years of age or more

+ Able to work fulltime M-F; Weekends and overtime as needed

**Working Conditions:**

+ Cold environment

+ Manufacturing setting

+ Standing or walking for prolonged periods of time

+ Repetitive motion

+ Uneven surfaces and slippery floors

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

+ Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

+ Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;

+ 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;

+ Base salary range of **$23.00 entry level**
