General description
The Warehouse Loader/Unloader pulls incoming goods for inventory. This is a 1st Shift position, 7AM-3PM, Monday-Friday.
Key responsibilities
- Unload delivery vehicles with incoming rolls;
- Scan rolls and their according location;
- Operate all warehouse equipment: forklift, reach truck, scanner, etc.;
- Perform the job safely in accordance with the JHA;
- Perform general housekeeping duties;
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills required
- Ability to drive a forklift and reach truck
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. on a continuous basis
- Ability to push, pull, squat, bend and reach
- Ability to pick and place rolls at higher locations
- Ability to perform detailed tasks with minimal errors
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and team player
- Positive attitude
- Basic English reading, writing and speaking skills
Experience
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Previous experience within a warehousing environment preferred
