Job Type Full-time Description Summary General cleaning and upkeep of residents living areas, public space and offices by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Teamwork with the following and all other duties and responsibilities assigned.
- Performs general cleaning of resident's apartments, room turnovers, hard floor surfaces, carpeted areas, building entrances, public-space, dining rooms, and staff work areas.
- Performs project work such as stripping and waxing floors, carpet extraction, spring cleaning and terminal cleaning.
Other Responsibilities
- Adjusts work in progress when priority projects change.
- Provides Quality Assurance by maintaining daily cleaning schedules.

Related experience in Housekeeping. Complete annual state mandated training requirements (Regular In-services as well as any external training). Language Skills Ability to read and interpret safety rules, and maintenance instructions, relating to housekeeping functions. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common numbers, and decimals. Reasoning Ability Ability to assess and solve practical problems. Other Skills and Abilities Skills in communicating with geriatric residents and with employees at all levels of the organization are required. Medical Screenings A Physical and Tuberculosis testing are required annually. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
