Slitter Department Packager
: Job Details :

Purpose: To perform all duties associated with packaging product in our slitting department. Essential Job Functions:

Able to set-up, change over, and trouble shoot to solve run ability or quality problems.

Able to accurately label roll tickets and load tickets.

Able to assist Operator with input and output roll changes including thread up.

Knows and understands the trim chute and edge guide systems.

Able to check production schedule to plan ahead and verify specifications.

Able to communicate any machine functions, computer operation, maintenance problems, quality problems or scheduling problems

Able to use the scanners and understand its purpose.

Able to perform miscellaneous duties as assigned or required by supervision.

Able to perform daily housekeeping (sweep and empty garbage cans towards end of shift).

Able to create work-orders if repairs are needed on equipment or on NCC property.

Able to follow and abide by all safety rules and practices.

Know, follow and abide by all documented procedures.

Knows how to use Redhawk.

Willing and able to work shift work.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Must be able to work safely.
• Must be able to perform miscellaneous duties

Work Environment: Work is performed in a manufacturing facility. Safety glasses, hearing protection and safety shoes are required at all times in the plant facility
