Job Title: Helpdesk & Facilities Technician

Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 Hourly (Non-Exempt)

o join our team. This role is responsible for providing first-line technical support for employees while also ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our office facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to multitask across IT and facility-related tasks.
Responsibilities:
IT Helpdesk Support: - Serve as the first point of contact for IT-related issues, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network problems.
- Provide support for user accounts, email, and system access management.
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of workstations, peripherals, and office IT equipment.
- Escalate complex IT issues to the appropriate technical teams when necessary.
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of IT assets and ensure timely updates and replacements.
Facilities Management: - Oversee the general upkeep and functionality of office spaces, ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
- Coordinate office maintenance, repairs, and improvements with external vendors and service providers.
- Manage office supplies and equipment, ensuring availability for employees.
- Support office moves, workstation setups, and workspace reconfigurations.
- Assist with health and safety compliance, including fire safety procedures and emergency preparedness.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an IT helpdesk and/or facilities management role a plus.
- Basic knowledge of IT systems, including Windows/Mac OS, networking, and common enterprise applications.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with employees and vendors.
- Ability to lift and move equipment as needed.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with IT ticketing systems and facility management tools.
- Certifications in IT (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL) or facility management are a plus.
- Familiarity with workplace safety regulations and compliance.
