Performs hand assembly functions by placing packaged materials in containers according to quantity and quality as specified by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Place packaged material into container working from a machine, conveyor, or stationary table. Inspect units for quality as they are packaged. May use a sorting machine, hand-sorting device or operate a toggle machine. May code stamp packages, place labels on shippers, assemble container displays, and place inserts into containers as required. May be required to count material, re-work returned material or shell rejected material. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES - This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
