The Division of Rehabilitation Services is seeking to hire a Maintenance Equipment Operator at the Illinois School for the Visually Impaired located in Jacksonville, Illinois. Under direct supervision, performs a variety of semi-skilled tasks involved in the maintenance and operation of the automotive equipment at the Illinois School for the Visually Impaired (ISVI). Drives school bus and/or automobile to transport school-aged children; verifies vehicles are serviced when scheduled and performs simple repairs and adjustments to vehicles as needed. Operates mowing equipment, tractors, snowplows, and other motorized equipment. Completes documents and reports. Essential Functions Serves as Bus Driver at the Illinois School for the Visually Impaired (ISVI) and performs a variety of semi-skilled tasks involved in the maintenance and operation of the automotive equipment.
