Gifted Requirements

A minimum of 1 year asanEndoscopyTechnicianwith recent experience in the specialty.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Endoscopy Technicians assist with performing maneuvers during procedures such as polypectomies and collection and of specimens. The Endoscopy Tech performs EKG's and the placement of a Pulse Oximeter. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Endoscopy Techs obtain, monitor, and document vital signs and retrieve endoscopy reports from EMR system
• Set up, clean, and care for scopes, the exam room, computers, and other procedure equipment
• Greet patients and escort them to exam/procedure room

Hours Worked per Week: 40
