As a Machine Operator you will perform operator responsibilities within your department. This will include ensuring all tasks and responsibilities are conducted in a safe manner, with a focus on producing quality products within the time required by our customers. Projects are related to the improvement of product quality, manufacturing processes consistency, efficiency and throughput, operating systems, and lean manufacturing.The available shifts for this position are typically overnight.Walk-In Applicants are welcome daily from 8AM-4PM.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform standard responsibilities as a Machine Operator to include:Perform standard responsibilities as a machine operator within the department.Daily communication with supervisor, other operators, and other shifts to ensure operational objectives are met.Provide continuous improvement ideas for Safety, On-Time Delivery, Quality, Cost Reduction and Efficiency.Support and comply with company policies and procedures as applicable.Be able to perform parts inspection as listed on the documented procedures and enter data into a computerized collection system.Demonstrate good housekeeping ability.Work in a safe manner.Safely handle materials of various sorts.Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.Qualifications and Skills include:High school or equivalentAble to read, write and speak English with reasonable comfortMinimum 18 years of ageCapable of lifting up to 50 lbs.Basic math skillsAvailable with respect to required work hoursReliable, good work ethic, high integrity, and drug freeAt least 1 year experience operating industrial production equipment preferredJob Type: Full-timePay: $19.50 - $21.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftAfternoon or Night shiftWeekends as needed
