About the Role

The Company is seeking an experienced Asset Manager to join its Tailored Lending Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of complex and highly structured loans, with a focus on those secured by private stock, hedge funds, private equity, and aircraft, as well as unsecured loans. This role involves maintaining the quality of the existing loan portfolio, collaborating on new loan originations, and partnering with Credit Risk Managers on portfolio risk control and reporting. The Asset Manager will also be involved in managing modifications, renewals, and annual reviews of credit facilities, preparing credit memos, monitoring client information, and ensuring data integrity within internal systems.Applicants for the Asset Manager position should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years' lending and credit experience in private banking. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with exceptional analytical skills, significant knowledge of accounting and finance, and familiarity with legal documentation for private banking clients. The candidate must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and collaborate with various internal groups. Responsibilities also include developing and implementing remedial action plans for impaired credits and engaging in ad hoc projects to enhance portfolio management.
