An educational organization is seeking a temporary Admissions Assistant reporting to the Associate Director of Admissions Operations, and assists the Associate Director with a variety of projects, critical to the successful operation and management of the Admissions Office. Job Responsibilities:
- Processes admissions applications for regular, transfer, visiting, and other candidate populations.
- Oversee the update and production of all letters for the admitted population. Assembles admission packets and coordinates mailings of physical materials to admitted students.
- Jointly responsible for preparing and generating, in a timely manner, over 8,000 admission decisions (admit, deny, and other notices) letters annually
- Responds to applicant inquiries, by telephone, email, and in-person.
Requirements:
- High School diploma.
- 2 years of related experience in a fast-paced, high volume, multi-tasking office.
- Must have strong computer skills; previous database management skills are strongly preferred.
- Must be willing to learn and implement new technologies as needed for maximizing task performance.
- Ability to exercise good judgment, work under pressure and deadlines, and carry out multiple tasks.
