Responsibilities:* Performs duties of a licensed practical nurse as prescribed by the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act.* Contributes to the development of a plan of care and follows through with such plan for selected patients.* Administers medication with a high degree of safety and accuracy.* Maintains the exam rooms and work environment.* Documents nursing care and activities.* Assists with patient care and monitors patients during procedures.* Assists with the training of other staff.* Assists departmental assistant with clinical matters.Qualifications:Education* High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a vocational program for Licensed Practical Nurse.Experience* Prefer at least 1-2 year experience in a clinical or physician-office setting, emergency room and/or a hospital setting that provides patient care. Experience in office clerical activities desirable.(Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience)Licensure/Certification* Current LPN license from the State of Oklahoma or active Multistate LPN license is required.* Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained for duration of employment.Compensation/Benefits* $17.39-$28.40/hr depending on previous work experience.* Benefits include medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance, paid time off (PTO), tuition reimbursement, scholarship opportunities, retirement plans, free parking, and opportunities for advancement.
