JOB DETAILSJob Title Quality Assurance Specialist

JOB PURPOSEApply metrology methods and techniques for the measurement and calibration of Powertrain gauges.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES•Calibration and repair of gauging and equipment •Manage plant-wide gauging and equipment database •Communicate with departments and supplier for gauging/equipment related issues •CMM measurement of gauging •Prepare gages for shipping to managed service provider •Support managed service provider for external calibrations

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS

Minimum Educational Qualifications Bachelors/Associate degree in related technical field or equivalent experience

Minimum Experience 0-4 Years of experience in a quality role

Other Job-Specific Skills GD&T knowledge, Calibration knowledge, Measuring skills with various equipment

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORSOn time calibration of gauging/equipmentAccurate measurement methods and measurement analysisMeeting calibration deadlines and maintaining accurate records
