Position Overview
As a Receiving Lead, you will work to verify that the correct merchandise is received by the facility free of damage, infestation, and in correct quantities. In this job, you will work with the receiving team and external truck drivers and will be responsible for keeping records of incoming shipments.

Earn $26 per hour
Shift: Tues, Thurs, Fri & Sat 6pm start

You will contribute by:
Greet incoming outside Truck Drivers and direct to proper loading bay
Work with Receivers to verify contents and quantities of incoming shipments
Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming shipment
Record shipment data into computer system, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and record-keeping purposes
Enter purchase order receipts into computer system and print receiving tags for use by Receivers
Contact carrier representative to make arrangements and to issue instructions for delivery of materials
Confer and correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications
Assist Supervisor with varied office and dock responsibilities including filing

At least six months of warehouse experience
Electric Pallet Jack experience preferred
Strong planning and execution skills
Ability to work with and through others to achieve desired results
Strong team orientation and collaboration to work effectively in a team environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with people at all levels in the organization
Ability and willingness to follow all safety policies and procedures
