Broad Function and Purpose of Position:The Master Scheduler responsibility is to create a high-level plan that outlines the production requirements, quantities, and by specific periods. The Master Schedule oversees the S&OE process within their technology clusters to ensure the right products are available to meet customer demand by optimizing resources, minimizing disruptions, and managing inventory levels. Specific Responsibilities:Analyze demand and supply at the item, customer, and master schedule levels, determine out of balance conditions, identify alternative and recommend actions for approval. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and manufacturing to understand and reduce internal and customer lead-times. Conduct rough-cut capacity planning prior to publishing master schedule to ensure alignment with SI&OP commitments. Oversee S&OE commitments within the sites to ensure efficient detailed scheduling and utilization of capacity.
