Our client is seeking an Assistant Controller to join the team. This key role will support the client's financial operations by assisting the preparation of financial reports, managing budget processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This ideal candidate will help maintain accurate financial records, support audit activities, and contribute to the continuous improvement of internal controls. Responsibilities of the Assistant Controller:

• Assist in the preparation of accurate financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Support the development of annual budgets and forecasts
• Help implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting
• Oversee and assist in the timely and accurate completion of the month-end close process
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support for day-to-day tasks

Qualifications of the Assistant Controller:

• 7-10 years of accounting experience
• Bachelor's in Accounting
• Leadership skills (2-3 Direct Reports)

Salary and Benefits:

• Pay rate is $85,000 to $100,000
