Program Managers at Seemann Composites have the latitude to work in resource focused groups and product teams. Our Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), typically include, Program Management, Engineering, Quality, Logistics and Production. Seemann Composites has a Program Manager at our facility in Gulfport, MS. The work will include interfacing with SCI leadership and engineering, production planning, operations, and supply chain management IPT members. Focus is toward accomplishing each programs customer requirements and objectives. Some travel may be required. Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide PM oversight for Integrated Project Team (IPT) to all phases of project from kick off to completion.
  • Responsible for cost, schedule, and performance of assigned programs, including management of subcontractors.
  • Manage multiple programs, customer requirements and deliverables simultaneously.
  • Develop program plans that capture all program resource requirements to meet business budgetary and schedule performance goals.
  • Manage budget including development of budgetary baseline, review of actual costs and determine variance analysis, monthly revised estimates and Estimate to Complete analysis.
  • Report out project status to executive leadership in a clear, concise manner to communicate progress to expected targets.
  • Assist in the development of program review sessions with DoD customers to discuss program cost, schedule and performance. Establish milestones and monitor schedule as assigned.
  • Monitor adherence to contract requirements, risk management, resource planning and reporting and justifying costs.
Desired / Preferred Job Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Program Manager, 5 years of project/program management experience, preferably in DoD programs.
  • Bachelor's Degree required; a technical field preferred.
  • PMP certification is desired but not required.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software, MS Project desired.
  • Working knowledge of cost and financial management. Familiarity of Earned Value Management methodologies is desired.
  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability.
  • Understanding of FAR/DFAR and ITAR compliance requirements is desired.
  • Proof of US Citizenship and/or authorized to work in the US. Due to the nature of our work, United States Citizenship, is required.
