Providing tool design, weld fabrication, assembly and inspection - our client is a full service provider to their customers. Controller Reports to: President Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, receivables, payables, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Analyze financial results with respect to profits, trends, costs, and budget compliance. Issue regular status and ad hoc reports to senior management and the investment firm.
- Provide strategic guidance on capital financing options to support company growth.
- Develop and maintain relationships with lending/financial institutions.
- Ensure all accounting policies and systems are in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Assist senior management in financial planning and results management. Define appropriate reports for tracking revenue and cost drivers.
- Coordinate and review monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Manage relationships with insurance providers and ensure compliance.
- Oversee all tax planning and compliance with federal, state, local, payroll, property, and other applicable taxes.
- Manage cash flow and build the accounting department as the company grows.
- Interact with venture capital partners and the board of directors.
- Oversee the Human Resource Manager and ensure daily functions, including payroll, recruitment, benefits, and policy administration, are completed.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of managerial accounting and financial management experience.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- CPA and/or CMA preferred but not required.
- Experience in a manufacturing business with activity-based project costing.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage tasks and time.
