Providing tool design, weld fabrication, assembly and inspection - our client is a full service provider to their customers. Controller Reports to: President Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, receivables, payables, payroll, and financial reporting.
  • Analyze financial results with respect to profits, trends, costs, and budget compliance. Issue regular status and ad hoc reports to senior management and the investment firm.
  • Provide strategic guidance on capital financing options to support company growth.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with lending/financial institutions.
  • Ensure all accounting policies and systems are in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Assist senior management in financial planning and results management. Define appropriate reports for tracking revenue and cost drivers.
  • Coordinate and review monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Manage relationships with insurance providers and ensure compliance.
  • Oversee all tax planning and compliance with federal, state, local, payroll, property, and other applicable taxes.
  • Manage cash flow and build the accounting department as the company grows.
  • Interact with venture capital partners and the board of directors.
  • Oversee the Human Resource Manager and ensure daily functions, including payroll, recruitment, benefits, and policy administration, are completed.
Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of managerial accounting and financial management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • CPA and/or CMA preferred but not required.
  • Experience in a manufacturing business with activity-based project costing.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage tasks and time.
