Position Summary

As a member of the National Operations Team, the Regional Project Director reports directly to the Vice President of Large Loss. This role also closely collaborates with the Director of Operations for Mitigation Services and the Director of Operations for Construction Services. The Regional Project Director is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the large loss team, with a focus on developing and implementing customer-centric operational processes to drive growth across all large loss segments. This includes maintaining and expanding relationships to drive revenue, streamlining operational processes for greater consistency and improved training throughout the organization, and teaching/leading colleagues on creating revenue opportunities through exceptional operational performance. The Regional Project Director role offers opportunities for professional growth. Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Vice President of Large Loss to drive growth in both mitigation and reconstruction revenue, implement customer-focused operational procedures, and optimize overall processes.
  • Responsible for creating, preparing, and executing the overall customer-focused operational plan to be implemented across large loss projects.
  • Leads the development and implementation of scalable, consistent operational processes across branches and acquisitions.
  • Responsible for training national and branch-level operations teams on the developed operational processes; especially industries prone to high business interruption.
  • Responsible for driving revenue growth by closely collaborating with the business development team to provide consistent marketing and operational support.
  • Prospects and sets up appointments at the national, regional, and local level.
  • Works closely with members of the National Account Team, National Insurance Team, and local branches to capitalize on revenue-generating synergies.
  • Responsible for estimation and closing of point-of-sale project opportunities when necessary.
  • Oversees the daily operations and financial performance of each individual project that is sold or assigned.
  • Assists with collection efforts both regionally and nationally.
  • Works with the business development team to facilitate client communication and issue resolution if required.
  • Actively maintains memberships in industry-specific organizations as applicable.
  • Utilizes and manages CRM tool to keep all client information up-to-date and all activities current.
  • Supports all operations in selling efforts by providing needed internal support, including documentation, communication, setting customer expectations, and potential jobsite assistance.
  • Maintains and executes corporate reporting needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in similar roles
  • Strong analytical skills, with extreme attention to detail, accuracy and accountability balanced with sound business judgment
  • Excellent and professional written/verbal communication
  • Ability to effectively communicate in high stress situations
  • High quality presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop trusting relationships
  • Outstanding collaborator with demonstrated track record of proactive communication
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite; proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to work hard, both independently and in a team environment, in a high pressure on-call environment with changing priorities
  • Willingness to work outside of normal business hours and travel as necessary
