Position Summary:

The Director of Engineering will be responsible for overseeing and driving our engineering efforts, focusing on building a high-performance team, establishing scalable processes, and leading the development of cutting-edge solutions in industrial tank level gauging, control systems, and bulk storage applications. This strategic role will involve managing the design, development, and continuous improvement of embedded systems, analog/digital components, and sensor technologies to ensure we stay at the forefront of innovation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Overhaul and standardize engineering documentation, processes, and quality assurance practices to support scalability and efficiency in production and testing.
  • Oversee the design and development of embedded systems, sensors, and industrial components for industrial applications, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Work cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions into the production environment.
  • Establish and implement a roadmap for continuous improvement in product design, compliance, and performance.
  • Manage engineering resources, budgets, and project timelines, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and delivering results within time and cost constraints.
  • Drive a culture of excellence in engineering practices, emphasizing quality, innovation, and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field); Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of engineering experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role with a focus on process improvement, team development, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proven success in developing scalable engineering documentation, operational systems, and processes for production and testing.
  • Deep expertise in embedded design, instrumentation, and industrial manufacturing processes.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of driving cross-functional initiatives and managing teams to achieve strategic goals.
  • Exceptional project management abilities with experience overseeing complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
