Job Highlights

• Responsibilities: Help residents reach their highest potential through daily care tasks, activities, meals, and outings.

• Training: Four weeks of paid training – both Hybrid/Online Training and hands-on – for new hires.
• Pay Rate by Shift:
• High School Diploma/GED Holders
  • Day: $20/hour on weekdays and $23/hour on weekends
  • Evening: $23/hour on weekdays and $25/hour on weekends
  • Overnight: $21.50/hour on weekdays and $23/hour on weekends
• 4-Year Degree Holders
  • Day: $21.00/hour on weekdays and $22/hour on weekends
  • Evening: $24/hour on weekdays and $26/hour on weekends
  • Overnight: $22.50/hour on weekdays and $24/hour on weekends

Pay Rate

$20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Candidate Profile

• Location: Must be able to commute to Misericordia's campus at 6300 N Ridge Ave, Chicago, IL 60660 (0.5 mi from Peterson/Ridge Metra station).
• Availability: Weekend availability is required. All shifts are open, especially 2nd shift (3pm - 11pm).
• Passion: Love for caregiving and working with children and adults with developmental disabilities.
• Qualities: Responsible, compassionate, empathetic, and creative. Previous caregiving experience is a plus.
• Relationships: Ability to build strong connections with residents, families, and staff.
