We are looking for a seasoned IT Infrastructure Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud-native architectures. In this role, you will work with cross-functional teams to define cloud strategies, develop governance processes, and ensure the delivery of high-quality infrastructure solutions for AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Your expertise will be crucial in building hybrid and multi-cloud environments and driving technology standards across the organization.
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead the design of cloud-native, scalable architectures on AWS and GCP.
- Architect hybrid and multi-cloud environments, integrating AWS/GCP services with on-premises and other cloud platforms.
- Define and evangelize Cloud Standards and Architectures for AWS, GCP, Salesforce, SaaS, PaaS, and On-Prem.
- Implement security best practices in the cloud, including IAM, encryption, and data protection.
- Design and enforce security controls such as network isolation, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Create and maintain detailed architectural artifacts (e.g., diagrams, design documents, data models) using tools like Lucidchart.
- Develop scalable and unified architecture strategies while adhering to industry and enterprise standards.
- Provide advisory on technical solutions, helping stakeholders make informed decisions on new technologies and their applications.
- Guide the research and evaluation of new technologies and their alignment with IT strategies.
- Influence senior leadership and stakeholders on the adoption of technical solutions and ensure successful implementation.
- Lead process improvements and adopt industry best practices in architecture and engineering.
Key Skills & Experiences:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive work-related experience, with expertise in multiple technologies or processes.
- Required Skills: Expertise in AWS, GCP, Salesforce, and VMware/Nutanix cloud architectures.
- Strong understanding of data technologies (Big Data, AI/ML, Relational Data).
- Knowledge of microservice architecture, enterprise caching, messaging-based architecture (e.g., Kafka), and enterprise integration patterns.
- Proficient in security architectures, IAM, Microsoft Active Directory, and Single Sign-On integration.
- Experience with Kubernetes, web/native applications, and monitoring/observability tools.
- Champion: Agile, Scrum, ITIL, CMMI, Six Sigma methodologies.
