.NET Developer – Permanent Opportunity - £75K + Bonus & Excellent Benefits – Hybrid / LondonOverview:Our client, a global financial services firm, is seeking a talented .NET Developer to join their Risk IT team. This role offers an exciting chance to work on cutting-edge technology, delivering innovative solutions that support critical risk analytics and reporting functions.As part of the Risk IT Analytics team, you will contribute to the ongoing modernisation of the risk infrastructure, leveraging .NET, C#, SQL Server, Python, and Azure to build scalable and efficient applications.Role & Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance risk and batch processing tools.
• Upgrade legacy systems to .NET Core for improved performance and scalability.
• Optimise application performance and ensure robust testing and debugging.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including risk managers, developers, and project managers across multiple regions.
• Support overnight and weekend Credit Risk processes post-release when necessary.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET Core, and SQL Server.
• Experience building .NET Core Web APIs and microservices.
• Knowledge of Azure (Data Lake, Kubernetes Service) and containerisation (Docker, AKS).
• Familiarity with Control-M for batch scheduling.
• Strong understanding of Credit Risk, PFE, and Market Risk VAR calculations.
• Experience working in banking technology environments.
• Good communication skills, able to interact with teams across different geographical locations.

• £75,000 basic salary
