Your new roleJob Title: 1:1 SEN Teaching AssistantLocation: MaghullContract Type: Full-Time, Long Term Working Hours:08:30am - 03:30pm, Monday to FridayJob Description: We are seeking an experienced 1:1 SEN teaching assistant to work with a reception-age child on the ASD pathway. The child you will be working with has experienced trauma and has limited communication. This is a full-time, ongoing role for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support to an SEN pupil in a classroom setting
• Work closely with teachers and other staff to create a supportive learning environment
• Support with student development
• Managing challenging behaviour

Requirements:

• Highly experienced SEN teaching assistant
• Strong understanding of special education needs
• Trauma informed
• Patience, empathy and a positive attitude
