1:1 Teaching Assistant - Tradewind Recruitment : Job Details

A fantastic primary school in central Stockport is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child with autism who is working at a lower ability level.

Key Requirements:

• Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN), specifically autism
• Familiarity with supporting children who have English as an Additional Language (EAL)
• Ideally, knowledge of the Makaton scheme of learning
• Patience, empathy, and a strong understanding of the needs of individual learners

This full-time, long-term role is set to start in October 2024 or ASAP.
