About the Role:

Randstad Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide personalised support to a child with additional needs in a primary school. Key Responsibilities:

• Offer 1:1 support to a child with specific learning needs, adjusting lessons and tasks to their individual abilities.
• Assist with daily classroom activities, ensuring the child remains engaged and supported.
• Provide behaviour management and emotional support as needed.
• Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored learning strategies.
• Maintain detailed progress records and communicate regularly with staff and parents.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children, particularly in a 1:1 or SEN support role, is highly valued.
• Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
• A flexible and positive approach, with a passion for helping young learners thrive.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting child welfare.
