1:1 Tutor Required in Derby-Immediate Start - Reed : Job Details

Reed Tutors is seeking a dedicated and experienced 1:1 tutor to provide support for two students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). The role involves delivering tailored tuition sessions for:

• One Year 11 student
• One Year 10 student

Each student has been allocated four hours of tuition per week, making a total of eight hours per week.

Location is Derby, DE24.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons in line with the students learning needs and EHCP requirements.
• Assess progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
• Provide a structured and supportive learning environment to help students achieve their academic goals.
• Liaise with parents, guardians, and relevant professionals to ensure continuity of support.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide feedback as required.

Requirements:

• A valid DBS check registered on the Update Service is essential.
• Proven experience in 1:1 tuition and working with students with EHCPs.
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual needs.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Pay Rate:

£30-35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
