1st Line Engineer - James Frank Associates : Job Details

Our client, a well-established and growing Managed Services Provider is seeking a 1st Line Engineer to join their friendly and highly-technical team on a permanent basis.

Working in the office, our client is looking for a 1st Line Engineer with a minimum of 6 months’ experience in a similar 1st Line role, where you have been used to working with clients and being the first point of contact for any technical issues or faults.

As a 1st Line Engineer you will be supporting clients, providing a high level of technical support on a mixture of day to day issues and project work.

Due to the location of the role our client requires candidates to have access to their own vehicle along with a valid UK drivers’ license.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing a high level of 1st Line customer support to clients both over the phone and via email
• Office 365 administration
• Networking and Server administration
• Supporting a mixture of day to day technical faults and assisting with project work
• Answering and resolving support calls in accordance with all SLAs
• Being the go-to for any questions or queries from clients, providing a high level of technical support and customer service at all times

Key Experience:

• A minimum of 6 months’ experience in a similar 1st Line support role
• Office 365 experience
• An understanding and working knowledge of TCP/IP
• SharePoint
• Windows Server 2003-2019
• Experience liaising with customers both over the phone, via email and face to face
