2nd Line Support Engineer - In Technology Group Limited : Job Details

Job Title: 2nd Line Support Engineer

Location: Witham (full-time onsite)

Industry: Managed Service Provider

Salary: £27,000-30,000 per annum

We have partnered with a growing Managed Service Provider, looking to expand their service desk team.

They are a small team of 4 engineers covering 1st-3rd line support to external clients and are looking for someone to sit around their 2nd line support.

Responsibilities:

• Providing 2nd line support for a range of issues via phone calls/emails/ticketing systems
• Some onsite support will be required to their end clients (surrounding Essex area)
• Escalate issues to their Senior Support Engineer
• Assist with fault finding and resolving technical issues
• Troubleshooting of hardware/software issues

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of Office 365 products and Windows Servers
• Strong understanding of Active Directory
• Basic networking knowledge (DNS/DHCP, LAN/WAN) and VoIP knowledge
• MSP experience (1+ years)
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
