3rd Line Projects Engineer - Atkinson Moss : Job Details

Our exclusive MSP client are looking to hire an exceptional Solutions Architect who will truly add value to their client/customer base. You will be mapping out customers projects at the highest level of responsibility, creating specs for upcoming projects for large scale enterprise size businesses and also delivering on those projects with help from the larger team.

Crucially, our client offers a 24/7 service, so you will need to be ready to act in a moments notice to travel to customer sites across the UK. Ultimately the role involves home working, 1 office day and approx. 30% of the job travelling to clients.

Summary:

Drive the support, deployment of new services, and day-to-day management of cloud platforms, online services, and local IT infrastructure working closely with our project management team.. Ensure the stability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of cloud and on-premise platforms while aligning with the strategic goals of the organisation & it’s Clients. Provide excellent technical support, manage risk, and drive continuous improvement and

innovation in service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance 365 and Azure systems and security/reliability.
• Provide technical leadership on Azure architecture and best practices.
• Deliver and implement agreed technical solutions for cloud and IT infrastructure.
• Scope projects step-by-step from a technical perspective to ensure thorough planning and execution.

Skills:

• ITIL Foundation certification or willingness to work towards it.
• Demonstrable In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Office 365, Teams, and SharePoint (Certifications an advantage)
• Demonstrable experience with Azure Active Directory and cloud migrations.
• Experience in Mid-Market or enterprise-level O365/Azure scoping and deployment.
• Working knowledge of IT security principles (e.g., CE+, ISO27001, NHS DSPTToolkit, MFA).
• Proven track record of managing cloud services and driving efficiencies through automation.
• Solid understanding of IT security standards & best practices.
