I am seeking an experienced Systems Engineer with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.

The Systems Engineer will play a crucial role in providing 3rd line technical support and implementing cutting-edge IT solutions for clients. Reporting to the Head of Service Delivery, the successful candidate will ensure the best possible customer experience through expert troubleshooting and proactive support.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 3rd line technical support via the service desk, handling escalations and mentoring junior team members, as well as work on Technical ProjectsResolve customer issues within SLA guidelines, ensuring high-quality serviceImplement and maintain Azure, Office 365, networking, virtualisation, and backup solutionsManage vendor escalations and liaise with 3rd party support teamsConfigure and support Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Exchange, SQL Server, and networking infrastructure (Cisco, Meraki, Sonic Wall)Maintain and improve remote management systems.Undertake client site visits for solution implementation and troubleshootingParticipate in an on-call rota (approximately 1 in 7 weeks) for evening and weekend support

Candidate Requirements:

Minimum 2 years' experience in a 3rd Line role and/or MSP experience in a 3rd line role or equivalentStrong knowledge of Azure, Office 365, Networking (WAN, LAN, VPN, RDP), Windows Server (2008-2019), Exchange, SQL Server, VMware, Hyper-VExperience with backup technologies (Veeam, Datto, Veritas)Industry certifications (Microsoft, CCNA, VMware, Veeam) - highly desirableExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills (verbal and written) with a professional, customer-focused approachA full UK driving license and permanent access to a reliable vehicle for business us
