Job Type: Permanent- Full Time

Location: Spennymoor

Salary: £25,800 per annum (PLUS the opportunity of earning an extra £2000+ annual attendance bonus AND performance related bonuses. Overtime also available, where required).

Working hours: 4 on, 2 off (07:00 AM Start)

Start: Immediate

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, SL Transport, for a 7.5t Driver to join their team. Working with Curry’s Delivery Partners as a Driver/Installer, you will deliver and install our innovative products to our Curry's and PC World customers' homes.

7.5 Tonne Driver - The Role:

• The role requires delivering 'White Goods’ to customer’s homes, in a 7.5t vehicle with an experienced driver’s mate.
• Based in Spennymoor you will deliver and install domestic appliances within the region.
• With the customer at the heart of all they do, you will offer exceptional customer service at every stage of the process.
• The role requires working on a rota basis; and will require flexible working including public/bank holidays and weekends.
• Willing to Work Overtime as and when necessary.

7.5 Tonne Driver - Requirements:

• You must hold the relevant CAT C1 licence with valid CPC card.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• Digital tachograph card.
• Retail delivery experience is preferred but not essential.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• A background in "wet and dry" installation of white goods.
• CPC Training (Essential).
• Act in a calm and professional manner at all times.
• Be professional and presentable at all times.
• Have a flexible approach to work and changing circumstances.
