7.5 TONNE DELIVERY DRIVER

WORKING 5 DAYS BETWEEN MONDAY - SATURDAY: 

AM SHIFT: 0600-1700

PM SHIFT: MONDAY - THURSDAY: 10.30 - 21.30

                  FRIDAY: 09.30 - 20.30

                  SATURDAY: 07.00 - 18.00

£15.00 PER HOUR 

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our client based in Cheadle on a temp-perm basis.

You must undertake a DBS Check for this role.

Day to Day Duties

Your duties as a 7.5t Driver will involve but not be limited to:

• House delivery of furniture and white goods• You will be doing around 30 deliveries per day around the North West• Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers• Maintain accurate records of shipment and mileage• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management

Essential Skills

As a 7.5t Driver you will need to:

• Must undertake a DBS check• Hold a valid UK Category C1 Driving Licence• Hold a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card• Have a minimum of 12 months experience driving a 7.5 Tonne vehicles• No more than six penalty points and no major endorsement codes• Must be able to speak and read good level of English• Flexibility and availability to work overtime as and when required

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience dealing with customers

Training

• Driving Assessment to be completed before starting
• Full training will be provided for this role after successful assessment
