7.5t Driver - dh Crewe : Job Details

Location: CreweContract Type: Ad-Hoc, Part-Time (2-5 shifts per week)

We are looking for an experienced 7.5t Driver to join our home delivery team based in Crewe. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a home delivery contract, delivering a range of products directly to customers’ homes. The successful candidate will be delivering items like furniture, tools, and other DIY products in a friendly and professional manner.

• Drive a 7.5t vehicle to deliver DIY products to customers’ homes across the local area.
• Work alongside a Driver’s Mate, who will assist with paperwork and lifting at delivery points.
• Ensure deliveries are completed in a timely and professional manner, while maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Ad-hoc shift pattern - availability to work between 2-5 shifts per week, including weekends. Flexibility is key.
• Weekend work will be required
• Additional hours are available at other contracts to bulk out your weekly schedule if desired.

• Minimum 12 months of driving experience with a 7.5t vehicle.
• No more than 6 penalty points on your driving license.
• CPC & Digi card.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to represent the company professionally at all times.
• Physically fit, as lifting and moving products will be part of the job.
• Flexibility in working hours, including weekdays and weekends, to meet the needs of the contract.

• Competitive pay rates:
  • £13.45 per hour (Monday to Friday)
  • £16.81 per hour (Saturday)
  • £17.93 per hour (Sunday)
• Opportunity to pick up additional shifts across other contracts if you want to bulk out your hours.
